Lamine Jamal wrote history in the Spain national team shirt in a sweeping victory against Georgia outside the rules in the Euro 2024 qualifiers with a score of 7-1.


The match, which was held in Tbilisi, Georgia, marked the second victory for La Roja in the European qualifiers from 3 matches so far.

The match witnessed Lamine Gamal participating for the first time in a Spain national team jersey, and even scoring the first goal, becoming the youngest person to participate and score in a Matador jersey in history.


Quadruple in the first half

In the 22nd minute, Alvaro Morata opened the scoring after a perfect cross from Marco Asensio.

Jamal finished off the goals of the match in the 74th minute with a powerful shot after a cross from Williams.

He became the youngest player to participate and score for Spain and in the European Nations Cup qualifiers in history, at the age of 16 years and 57 days.

He also became the third youngest player to score in a national team jersey, after Sam Johnstone, at the age of 15 years and 160 days, with a Northern Ireland jersey, and Joseph Horvath, with Hungary, at the age of 16 years, 12 days.

The Matador rose to second place with 6 points, 6 points behind Scotland, who leads after 4 matches.

While Georgia's balance stopped at 4 points after suffering the second defeat.
